George Kennedy and Ernest Borgnine (18/04/2009)

Autographica 13 was running side by side in two different rooms with Collectormania Midlands at the Birmingham Hilton.

I first met George Kennedy, he was friendly but was a touch on the deaf side, I am a naturally quiet person.

Ernest Borgnine, well into his 90s - but he was so full of life - actually as I was queuing to get in the events he was saying hello to everybody in the line as he was walking past - 

It's still surreal that I met two Hollywood legends within half and hour of each other.

I sent her a request plus the DVD insert on the 22 of February 2008 and less then a month later I received it back signed. This was my first ever through the mail success (not counting a likely PP from Jackie Chan as a child), I think she was amazing in this movie.

Dennis Lill (12/10/2010)

Dennis Lill is one of them actors whose names is not instantly familiar but as done a lot of great work. Lill appears in one of the best episode episodes of this series - Gunmen of the Apocalypse, where he played both the Stimulant Captain and Death, which chatted about his various projects and said he was really happy doing this episode as he always wanted to do a western. Friendly guy.

Mark Donovan (received July 2010)

My love for this movie was the main reason I contacted Mark Donovan, who played the small but memorable role of Overweight Man. I contacted him initially via e-mail (which you can find on his site if it's still there) and was very friendly in his e-mail and give me an address to send the DVD covers. I asked him if he could inscribe the cover with one of his lines from the movie, which he obliged - a very quick turn around and an awesome success!

'Allo 'Allo

Armed with my 'Allo 'Allo book this was actually the key thing I wanted signed from the Keeping Up Appearances production at Hull New Theatre. David Janson was hall of fame friendly and seemed genuinely happy that I actually knew who he was (more on that on the Hard Day's Night entry).

Kim Hartman (21/10/2010)

Unfortunately on the 19th, Kim Hartman left through a different entrance to the one I was waiting at (old reliable), but my brother out the kindness of his heart offered to take me back a couple of days later. As luck would have it, she came within minutes from the stage door entrance. She was very, very friendly and happy to sign my book, firstly on her Helga character page (pictured below) and on the front page with Janson's signature. Hall of fame all the way.

Andrew Dunn and Sue Devaney (08/03/2011)

Oh Hull New Theatre, where would I be without you? okay they aren't A-List celebrities but they are often actors from many projects I enjoy and best of all they are often very short waits. In my first in person autograph successes of 2011 I got two actors reprising their roles from the TV series Dinnerladies. I got there literally as the audience was leaving, and headed straight for the stage door because the performers can literally leave straight away and within 5 minutes both Andrew Dunn and Sue Devaney left together, which was a first for me, so it was always a fear I would miss one, but they both stopped together and both happily signed the DVD cover (plus a Corrie book) and actually despite the cold had a quick chat with me. I love how the autographs came out on the DVD cover and both deserve to go into the In Person Hall of Fame

Gareth Hale was appearing in a production at the New Theatre, He was one of three people who where appearing in a production of Keeping Up Appearances I was interested in getting the autograph of. He was the first of the three out of the theatre and signed 3 DVD covers for me, he was nice enough but wasn't the most personable, but still can't complain cause of the 3 signatures.
